Roche Harbor Wedding Photography by Luma Weddings
Having a Roche Harbor wedding is one of the most desired in the entire Pacific Northwest. There are countless venues in Washington State, but the Roche Harbor wedding venue is absolutely stunning.
The venue is right on the water, the accommodations are beautiful & cozy, and the ambiance is just incredible. Whether you live in Washington or around the world, Roche Harbor feels like a high-end, luxury destination that it’s intended to be.
Thankfully, Roche Harbor weddings are gorgeous in the sunshine, in the rain, in the stormy clouds, and in the snow. The area caters to photography very well and it just makes for a very memorable experience. Simply put, the place is amazing.
There are quite a few wedding venues that I have photographed that don’t really make my jaw drop or make me particularly excited to photograph, but Roche Harbor is the opposite. The long ferry ride in itself is an adventure. The cute little restaurants and shops in Friday Harbor make for a great pit stop on the way to the wedding venue, and everyone we bump into during our time on the islands are so friendly & welcoming.
That said, Roche Harbor is incredibly popular amongst the affluent. So, if you are looking for a wedding on a budget, this isn’t for you. The good thing is that you will absolutely 100% get your money’s worth here, though. And the Roche Harbor Resort catering is some of the best I have ever had in Washington State.

As I mentioned – it’s stunning. And I highly recommend the Roche Harbor wedding venue to you – if it’s in your budget.
Research the different wedding venues around the San Juan Islands, Orcas Island, etc… and you will most definitely have the Roche Harbor wedding venue on your shortlist.
