All portrait sessions need for eternity, please include some gorgeous snowy winter engagement photos! I absolutely love these. I mean come on! Getting off into the mountains on a beautiful winter day really couldn’t be any more fun. We’ll find a secluded area just like the winter engagement photos you see below, and we might even toss some snowballs at each other along the way. (Maybe even after a little whiskey).
When you book these winter portraits, make sure to plan ahead! Super, super important. The roads can get a little crazy, and I don’t want anybody feeling rushed. Get there with plenty of time to spare so you can settle in, change, get refreshed, and breathe in that gorgeous mountain air.
If you’re thinking about booking an engagement session to cherish those winter engagement photos, really put some thought into your outfits as well. You can get super dressy, or you can go really laid back with it, but always error on the side of getting too dressed up. (TIP: Getting too dressy isn’t possible).
You two should also look like you tried to dress together for the portrait session. Don’t get TOO matchy-matchy, but make it look like you compliment each other. And please-oh-please, leave the t-shirts and sneakers at home.
So, if you are wanting to take some incredibly gorgeous winter engagement photos, no matter your location, I want to be your engagement photographer. Your pre-wedding photographer. Your anniversary session photographer. Your “just because” photographer. Whatever you want to call it, I want to be there for you. And why? Because this is what I love doing, and this is my element. And I love every second of it. Let’s go create something amazing together.
Check out these other winter engagement sessions and weddings, too! They’re all awesome, and they’ll give you some more inspiration for your own winter engagement photos.
As always, I am here if you ever have any questions about anything at all. Get in touch today using the contact form on my website! I look forward to hearing from you soon and being your portrait photographer.
