During the smoke storm in 2018, I had the pleasure of photographing this very intimate elopement between Kelly & Mike. And thankfully, Kelly got ready in a nearby rental property to keep out of the outdoor air! I think I was out there for only a few minutes before getting dizzy. It was crazy!
After she got ready with her family by her side, I headed over to Treehouse Point to meet Mike. And that is where he was getting ready, and I caught him YouTubing how to tie a bowtie. I wish I knew how to help him, but dang those are confusing! So, if you’ve been thinking about having your fiance have a REAL bowtie for your wedding day, I’d highly recommend checking out those simple clip-on bowties. It will save you super important time.
Not to worry, though! I stayed late for Kelly and Mike because of the #2018BowtieFiasco, haha.
