Lord Hill Farms Wedding Venue in Snohomish, WA

Every now and then, I have the absolute pleasure of photographing weddings for friends and family – and this gorgeous Lord Hill Farms wedding was one of them. Not only is it a gorgeous wedding venue in Snohomish, but it’s HUGE. So, naturally, we had taken full advantage of what the property had to offer us, and we had an absolutely incredible time together.

Being a wedding photographer in Snohomish County, I am very familiar with nearly every wedding venue the area has to offer – but Lord Hill Farms was one on my list that I hadn’t had a chance to photograph until Michelle + JD’s wedding came on September 15th, 2017.

Not to worry, though! I have photographed many weddings with a similar sort of vibe, and the most important thing when it comes to creating beautiful wedding photographs is the cooperation and attitude of who I am photographing. Thankfully, Michelle & JD are such an amazing couple, and they are so much fun. And this venue really suited their personalities.

Their day got started a little bit late, but what is a wedding day if on time, am I right?? 🙂

We made up for that time during their super-sunny portrait session and with the help of my lovely wife, Haley, of Luma & Lavender – a Snohomish day-of wedding coordinator, and everything was right back on track for their ceremony (that they had their good friend, John, officiate. (Well done, John!!)

After their ceremony, we snuck away for a few more portraits when the light became a bit softer, and we had a great time. Music filled the air, delicious food in our stomachs, and laughter with everyone around us. It was a beautiful, rustic wedding in Snohomish. And it was absolutely perfect for JD, Michelle, and their families. Just the way they wanted it. Laid back, romantic, and so much fun.
