While there aren’t many wedding venues on Whidbey Island, those that I consider the best wedding venues are managed by Whidbey Island Weddings. This particular beautiful wedding day between Morgan & Jon was at the one-and-only Crockett Farm wedding venue in Coupeville, WA.
Both Morgan & Jon rented out GORGEOUS houses from Air B&B, and they got ready separately with their friends and family. Both of their houses were right on the water, and both were stunning. Â (Can I move to either right now, please?? I don’t know about you, but being able to feel, hear, and smell the ocean breeze from the comfort of your own home is a definite, huge goal of mine. And one that I am personally working towards every single day of my life.)
Morgan’s house was the PERFECT location for their first-look, too. Â It was literally a stone’s throw away from a beautiful driftwood structure that really made for some unique photographs on the beach, and it’s where we hung out to capture their first portraits on their wedding day.
What made their Whidbey Island wedding even more unique was that Morgan chose to have TWO absolutely gorgeous wedding dresses. One for her portraits, and the other for their reception. Both absolutely jaw-dropping, and both right from Nordstrom! She rocked them!
They didn’t have any wedding party, but they had their close friends and family surrounding them throughout their wedding day. It was just the way they wanted it, and it was absolutely stunning. And as the wedding day progressed, I could not help but to feel like we all became good friends. They’re just such an awesome, genuine couple. And that is yet another reason why I absolutely love being a wedding photographer.
The Crockett Farm wedding venue is historic, rustic, charming, quaint, and beautiful.
