Photographing elopements gives me an opportunity to really connect with the couple, and it allows the couple to relax, unwind, and be present with each other without the stressed and rigid schedules of a traditional wedding day. For most couples eloping – this sounds perfect. And for Yu & Chris, it was. It was such a great time being their Treehouse Point photographer for their summer elopement. Really, it should be its own village called Treehouse Point Washington. I love this place.
The sun came out on their wedding day, then quickly vanished. It was a very odd weather pattern, but nothing could get in our way of having an amazing time.
Yu’s beautiful bouquet is from the talented team at Down To Earth / Snoqualmie Flowers, and the rest was provided right from Treehouse Point! They sure do make it easy. And with a unique property for elopements, it’s really a no-brainer for elopements. Must be why so many couples I photograph in the treehouses are from around the country!
While there aren’t many official elopement locations in Washington State, the Pacific Northwest is filled with beautiful locations – both known, unknown, traveled, and off the beaten path. Treehouse Point is one of them that is well-known, yet secluded and with five-star service — all with a laid-back attitude.
Check out this elopement I photographed between Yu & Chris at Treehouse Point, and let me know if you have any questions. I would absolutely love to be your elopement photographer at Treehouse Point Washington.
