When I intially got the inquiry for Serena & Dave’s Golf Club at Echo Falls wedding, I knew I was going to be in for a special treat. They’re so much fun!!
While they didn’t need an engagement session, they hopped on a quick phone call with me prior to their big day, and they let me know the kind of style they were going for, and how important it was to get a few key portraits.
Some of those portraits I can’t share (NSFW!), but what the bride wants – the bride gets.
I photographed her ‘getting ready’ portraits with her bridesmaids while they all shared a bottle of champagne, and took time to photograph all of her special hand-crafted details along the way, too.
Both Serena & Dave got ready right in the golf club at Echo Falls.
Serena’s bridesmaids helped her with her dress.
They had their first look at the golf cart tunnel.
With the dramatic contrast, it definitely inspired me to get a dramatic portrait.
Then we hopped out to this secret little spot for their couples portraits. They turned out just as we had imagined.
Of course, we had a few jokes along the way.
Their ceremony was right by the first tee box.
And their reception was full of good energy and great music.
And lastly, I had to make sure to take them out for some incredible portraits at sunset.
Their first-look was kept simple, and we quickly hopped into a golf cart together to head out onto the golf course to get a few key portraits that they’ve been dreaming of ever since they started planning their wedding day. It was the perfect time of year for these, too.
When it came to their ceremony at the Echo Falls golf club in Snohomish, they wanted to make sure they had it outdoors and in the perfect little location — right across the street by the First tee box, and with the waterfall in the backdrop. It created the perfect atmosphere for them. Tears were flowing.
Serena & Dave were on a budget, but they did such a great job putting everything together that you would have no idea. Plus, the Echo Falls wedding venue is so beautiful just by itself that you really don’t need much to add to the space. They simply filled the room with their closest friends and family, cranked the music, dimmed the lights, and celebrated the way you should on your wedding day.
