Having a late Spring wedding anywhere in the Pacific Northwest can be especially unpredictable regarding the weather. Sometimes it’s hot & humid, sometimes it’s cold and raining, and sometimes you have everything all in a single day. For Marissa & Aaron’s wedding at the Hidden Meadows venue in Snohomish – it was cold, then hot, then humid, then raining, and back to cool. The weather was constantly changing, and it really played well with the venue since it offers both an indoor area, outdoor ceremony site, and then an open-air reception site. So, they chose the right venue!
Aaron got ready in the groom’s room (photographers, bring your flash equipment since there are no windows), and Marissa got ready in the recently renovated bride’s area with her bridesmaids — which had plenty of space for the bridal party and their hair/makeup team.
With the grounds being so beautiful, there’s no reason to go off-site. They had their first-look on the back lawn (the same place as their wedding party portraits), and then we moved over to the side property where they have a turf-farm… which really made for that “open” rural feel – which is perfect for their modern, yet rustic wedding design.
The Hidden Meadows wedding venue in Snohomish is beautiful. Personally, I especially love how it allows for everything to be photographed on-site, has easy parking, has an open-air design for the reception site, and allows for everybody to be incredibly comfortable in any sort of weather that the Pacific Northwest can toss our way.
