Gorgeous. If I had to boil it down to one word, that is what I would use to describe The Wayfarer wedding venue on Whidbey Island, WA.
Yes, it requires a ferry, and yes, your guests might have to wait in a bit of a ferry line… but I’ll tell you what… it’s 100% worth it, and your guests will love the entire experience. After all, having a wedding on an island is an adventure in itself. And that’s exactly why so many adventurous couples choose to book the Wayfarer wedding venue.
The property itself has separate getting-ready rooms, but there’s also the beautiful option of renting out some nearby Air B&B’s. And with the diversity of the area, you can choose something with a gorgeous waterfront or buried deep in the trees. Either way, you can’t go wrong. Both are gorgeous in their own right. And for the wedding below between Kavita & Ray, they chose to get ready at two separate rental houses. Just keep on scrolling for their highlights.
As you arrive at the Wayfarer, parking is neatly tucked aside to not be in the backdrop of any of your wedding photos, there is a cute little building for intimate-sized ceremonies, and the grounds themselves are wide open for other ceremony locations – should you choose to get married under the golden sun.
But as always, photographs tell a much better story than words can ever even attempt.
